hjl750 gn amax proformance in a 500a2
How do 750 gn amax proform on medium game like pigs goats deer etc. I believe you can get 2100 fps with this projectile from a 500a2.
Should be interesting.

RIPShould be like a giant Nosler Ballistic tip, aluminum tip, copper or gilding metal jacket, lead core, and 2.5 " long bullet with ballistic coefficient of 1.050, IIRC.
The jacket is very thick, but it might expand on a big pig. If not the pointy target bullet should tumble pretty quickly, especially if you have a 15" twist.

A cartwheeling 2.5" long and 750-grain of .510 caliber bullet should make a quickly fatal mess of a pig.

using a 750-grain A-Max, J.D. Jones claimed 2300 fps in a 23" barrel of 1:10" twist with his copy of the 500 A2, the 50 Peacekeeper. 2200 fps would be a more realistic maximum in that barrel.
I found 2150 fps very accurate with that bullet in a 10" twist barrel.
Zeroed 3" high at 100 yards, a 5 mil holdover puts you right on at 942 yards, and supersonic well past 1000 yards or meters, something like 1300 fps at 1000 yds, IIRC.
Hint: 10" twist.
