Re: RL-15 loads too hot for a .470?
Rusty,
Thanks for the link, which points out that the alleged "plastic worm"/foam wad problem that Seyfried was pussyfooting around about was applicable to BPE doubles, and he did not even specify what type of damage was done. He just left us guessing.
Where there is smoke and mirrors, there may be fire and mirrors.
Seyfried is the greatest scribe in the gun world today, but he sure emasculated himself with the pussyfooting on this dirty little secret.
Still, it must be said that there is "probably"

no smoke and mirrors with RL-15 plus dacron.
Re-reading the Seyfried article, he recommended these amounts of Dacron in the NE rounds as a rough guide:
.40-.45 NE: 4 to 5 grains
470-500 NE: 6 to 7 grains
577-600 NE: 7 to 8 grains
Stuff'em tight, eh?

You have to stuff the dacron like die blad Wurst (the fat sausage), not to be confused with die weiBer GansefuB (the fat hen).
