Good Hunting,
Bill
PS - I am an expereinced reloader, and understand that what works for you may not work and/or be safe in my gun. All loads always need to be worked up with safety in mind first.

ok, if you promise not to tell anyone, the following load that I got froma good friend yields 3/8" ( yes, 3/8"!) with just about any bullet you want to feed it. Nominal pfs is right around 2550
76.0 H-414
WW cases
Fed 215 primers
CRIMPED
AND absolutely NO pressure signs, smooth extraction even in 105 deg heat in Zimbabwe. jorge
I HAVE HAD GREAT SUCCESS WITH SWIFT 300GR A-FRAMES,THEY ,TO ME ARE THE ONLY SOFTS TO USE.HORNADY FMJ'S DITTO.
MY LOAD FOR BOTH USING REMINGTON OR WINCHESTER CASES IS:
77 GR OF WW760 POWDER
CCI250 MAG PRIMER
I GET ROUGHLY 2650FPS IT WORKS VERY WELL.

LET US PREY!
I have had fantastic success with 76 grains of RL-15 and the 270g swift Aframe. also with 72 grians or RL-15 and the 300g Swift Aframes. There are photo's of the recovered bullets on my web page in the hunting adventures section.
I have now taken well over 200 animals with swift Aframe bullets and have no complaints. They are my favorite hunting bullet. I have also shot several big bears with the 270 grain bullets and several Cape buffalo with the 300 grain bullets. All were one shot kills and nothing ran any distance. All with the old and boring 375HH
Much more experienced buff hunters than I will surely respond but to throw in my two cents.
For the .375 H&H with 300 grain bullets my "control" load , that has proven accurate in several .375's is; WW case, WLR primer, 300 Sierra SPBT/300 Partition, 75.0 to 76.0 grains of WW760. This is near max and will produce 2550 fps in most 24" guns. This has always been a VERY accurate load for me. I do not like X bullets so this load doesn't relate to X's.
I have done limited loading for Trophy Bonded Bearclaws, but if you could find some 300 TBBC's I would use that load. Start with maybe 74 grains and work up, etc.
For solids using the SPEER African Grand Slam Tungsten core 300 grain solids, WW case, 78.0 grains of IMR4350, CCI250 primer. Should yield 2500 fps. That load is the load the SPEER ballistics guys gave me when I inquired about their solids.
Another idea...I have always done well with the Remington Safari Grade three seven fives with the 300 gr Swift A-Frames. I would just buy a few boxes of those and be done.
Federal I believe loads a solid, possibly one of the Woodleighs?? They may do soft point Woodleighs too, another great bullet.
I've used Win 760 with good results.
Regards,
Terry
FWIW, my gun (24" barrel) seems to like 78.0 grains of Win 760, 300 gr. Nosler Partition, Win case, Fed 215 M primers. Acheive exactly 2500 fps on Ohler chronograph with low deviation. 1.25" 5 shot groups. You will see a lot of guys like the RL 15 and H4350 but my gun didn't group well with them.
Terry, I did try the search feature, but found so many hits that the good data got lost in the noise about general use of a 375. Maybe I didn't search on the right terms, but I really appreciate your compiled list of suggestions. Thanks lots!
Bill
< 1"
My Partition load is the 270gr with 760 powder. I'd start with 75grs and work up. Ku-dude
Shoot a box of the Remington Safari ammo with the 300 grain Swift A-Frame bullet. Another shooter and I got one-half inch groups at 100 yards with them, better than most reloads.

"if you are to busy to
hunt, you are too busy."
I intend to try some WW760 with a 300 gr. soft or solid at about 2400 FPS, a better velocity for Buffalo IMO...
I am looking forward to using some of Woodleighs 350 gr. softs and GSFN and some Northfork bullets on Buff this year.

What are you getting with the RL-15, and what are you wanting to get?
Thanks,
Rick.
