Nosler 500/416 Ammo

Just saw that Nosler will be loading 500/416 in their new safari ammo....

I know the 416, 400 gr. Nosler is an awesome bullet in the 416 Remington, it really lays buffalo down smartly. Great expansion and also penetrates equally well..It sometimes blows the lead out the front end but the jacket curls back and the base is long and drives the remaining bullet deep, The one I have expanded from .416 to .462 and looks like most Barnes X that expanded properly. I have shot a number of buffalo with that bullet/combo and all exited leaving big bloody holes except the one I recovered. I shot them at 2350 to 2400 FPS, and that seems ideal...

Ray, with all the trouble you had with the .500/.416, I'm surprised you could stand the recoil....
