Stu C505 Gibbs Dies
So far I've seen RCBS for over $300 and CH4D for around $170. Any other options? Seeing as the C&H are half the price of RCBS, any reason not to go for them?

500grainsCH almost always has oddball dies on the shelf, but often you have to wait for RCBS dies.

AtkinsonAh the world of the big bore, big bucks and big cases...these babys ain't cheap and you don't shoot skeet with them, just too costly....
C&H dies are fine, I have used them on several ocassions and only recently bought Pierr'e van Tonder a set of 505 Gibbs and a set of file trim dies, 40 cases from Huntingtons (horneber) that got me a Buffalo in payment.

J WisnerThese dies are not cheap any more.
I bought my set of RCBS about 10 years ago, don't remember the price but you could say I had sticker shock for a while.
I made my own file trim die.
Also made a tapered expander for the cast bullets.
Then had to make a 30 degree taper crimp die for the cast bullets.

KarlWe pay about 2-3 times those prices respectively to get them here.Sso for oddball calibres most Aussies just go for the cheapest option, CH, and they are fine.
