350 grain woodleighs in .378 wea
Has anyone tried this bullets for their .378 wea?
I was wondering if It couldn't be reloader for 2500 to 2600 fps at the muzzel and do a fine load for Africa?

Try to contact Woodleigh to see if the bullets will stand up to that velocity. Best way to turn a great expanding bullet into an animal-losing failure is to drive it too fast. Too much velocity causes too much expansion, bullet fragmentation and results in a loss of penetration. This bullet looks to be for the 375 H&H Magnum, which can't come close to the velocity you want to use.

CMcDermott - of course you are right. But Woodleigh them selfclaims that they work well with velocities between 2600 fps to 1900 fps. So I think it would work.

Why not give it a goo and se what it's made of [Big Grin] [Big Grin]
If it breaks up, shit happends [Eek!]

My mind have been occupied by playing with the thought of a new wildcat 9,3-404. That would be something as a medium rifle for a safari [Big Grin]

Good Luck
