CraigP416 caliber Kodiak bullets
Has anyone tried the Kodiak bullets in 416 caliber? I thought about trying them in my in progress 416 Taylor. I am mostly interested in them for bear and moose. Thanks.

KMuleinAKCraigP - I use both the 350 and the 400 grain versions from Alaska Bullet Works in a 416 Rigby - they hold together and expand well, give them a try - KMule

KMuleinAKthat last post seems to be a contradiction with the "hold together and expand well" - what I meant was the bullets do not fragment or break apart at all, retain their weight nicely and expand to a larger diameter - the 350 grains are usually pushed to around 2550 -2600 fps and the 400 grain bullets are pushed to around 2500 fps - they both work well at slightly slowly velocity, have loaded down to about 2250 fps with excellent results - they are not finished as well as other bullets such as the swift a-frame (which is a dandy bullet) however their performance is top notch - jmho - KMule
