eezridrdouble tap 375 H&H ammo / fail safe bullets
Guys,
I noticed some double tap 375 H&H ammo on the midway website. They had some loadings with 300 gr fail safe bullets.
I never had a chance to test any of these bullets.
Curious if any of you have had any experience? At one time they seemed to be touted as the best penetrating expanding bullet available.
Thought I might buy a box and try them out.

David WI've used the 300 grain Fail Safes extensively in Zimbabwe on everything from duiker to buffalo, lion and leopard and have never had a problem. I've recovered a few that retained more than 90% of original weight.
I used some of the Double Taps on my last hunt and didn't notice any difference in performance from the old factory loadings.

DGR ShooterNo experience with the failsafes, but have used Double Taps .375 TSX loading in the past with great satisfaction. They make a quality product.

I have only shot one pig with a Fail Safe in 308 and I got complete penetration, and a dead ig.
Ross Seyfried likes the Fail Safe bullets quite a bit.
