H&H build rifles in 404 Jeffery caliber?
Did Holland & Holland build Rifles in 404 Jeffery,
between the Wars?

I don't mean built one or two, but rather was it a common
or normal caliber they built?

Has any one seen an H&H in 404 Jeffery?

Allen

Thank you Alf,

I have missed your posts here recently, glad
see you posting more.

I going to order some Holland & Holland
reprint catalogs from Cornell Publishing,
so the 1950,1915 and 1905 catalogs should be
good sources of info.

You wouldn't happen to have any pictures of Holland&Holland
Rifles in 404 Express would you or know where I can find
or see some would you?

I am looking for pictures of the pre-war style
that (usually) had the front sight with a folding hood and
short quarter rib one standing and usually 1 or 2 folding.

The two that I have pics of are takedown rifles
in .375 H&H & .300 H&H. and I think were made in the 1920's.

Allen, I can send you photos of my pre-war 375 takedown if you like, has removable front hood, one standing one folding. Not sure if this style is of interest to you.

Cheers, Chris
