I have loaded Barnes, Noslers and Hornady bullet as far out 3.835 and still don't touch the lands. It seems like almost a Weatherby freebore length.

Any thoughts or how are your CZ .375 rifle for throat length?

I load mine to 3.85 and don't have any problems.

For a DG rifle. Check the length of the magazine and proper feeding. Don't worry about bench rest specs just off the lands. Instead, consentrate on proper feeding for rapid fire. One day you will need it. Jams
can be embarassing and/or deadly.

I still have magazine length left and it feeds and ejects loaded rounds like greased lightning

I've reloaded my 458 lott three times without
triming my shells. So that puts my lott in the
deep throte as you.

I've noticed it to be very long as well in my rifle.

Cartridge length easured at the ogive on a 300gr Hornady RN, I am at 3.265" to the lands. Not sure what this translates to in terms of OAL, but certainly in the ~3.8+ arena.

I know bench rest accuracy isn't the goal, but I've definitely found loading longer has a dramatic (improved) affect on accuracy. Especially with shorter/lighter bullets like the 220gr Hornady FP and the 260gr Accubond.

The 200gr bullets group 3-4" when loaded to the cannelure, but when I load them out to .050 off the lands, the groups shrink into the 2" range.
