PiviMONOLITHIC / SOLID BULLETS
I'd like to have a short list of monolithic/solid ( no FMJ ) bullet makers
I know the following:
A-Square
Barnes
Nosler
GS bullets
Are commercial loads with these bullets available through A-Square , Norma and Federal only?
(note:I mean commercial loads , not custom loaded ammo)
Thanks

jro45Myself I use A-Square Monolithic Solid bullets
And I had to figure my load but I got it now.
I got my starting load from Steves Loads. Starting a few Grains under what he had posted.

Go to the Terminal Performance thread, you will see several different types of solids tested. You might have to look through the thread, but there are several there.

Add North Fork Bullets as well.
North Fork makes a mono cup point that has limited expansion and a flat nose solid that doesn't expand.
North Fork and GS Custom flat point solids are very similar.

GanyanaThere are several makers of 'mono's'...some good, some bloody awful. But in factory ammo you have the choices you listed + PMP (see under bloody awful heading).

AndyThe North Fork line.
Left to Right: 9.3mm, 375, 416, 404, 458, 474. All about SD 300 which is ideal for a monolithic bullet.
I tried the TCCI/A-Square on elephant in 2005 and I would not put any monolithic RN on my list unless your rifle will not function reliably with anything else.
