WVFredArmy & Navy info
Does anyone know how to find out information on an Army & Navy double rifle like who made it or what year it was made?
Thanks Fred

SteveFred,
The University of Glasgow has all the
Army & Navy Store Ltd records and can trace down any info that they have regarding your rifle. The cost to have thme go through records for you is £23.50. If you can make it to Glasgow, you can go through them yourself, for free.
Additionally if you take photos of the proof marks (water table and barrel flats) and send them to the Birmingham Gun Barrel Proof House <info@gunproof.com> they might be able to tell you more. Assuming it was proofed by Birmingham , of course. I don't have the London Proof House address.
