csutton7CZ 375 H&H has shipped
Next week I should pick up my CZ 375 H&H as it has shipped--I purchased it out of the AR classifieds from Texasman-dealings with him have been great and painless--I've ordered the Pachmayr XXX recoil pad and then we shall see on the scope(may take my 2.5 X 8 Leupold off the 458 Savage or I may order another Leupold-decisions, decisions) and use some Talley QD rings--probably glass bed it or get a McMillian stock for it and glass bed that---we shall see--can't wait--then it's time to figure out how to slip in a CZ 416 past the almighty signicficant other---chris
Csutton,
you have amde a great choice, I only picked mine up Xmas Eve. Please try the stock before canning it, it grow on you, I think it handles the .375 recoil well and it already has a Pachmeyer fitted as standard.
I have just sent mine off for a devcon bedding job, I am opting against removing the front lug but rather am having that bedded in and the barrel floated to the front lug. I will eventually add a composite, not beacuse I do not like the hogs back but because I like composites.
I have only shot 11 rounds from mine and I used the 235 gr speers.
CZ's are my favourite rifles. I to am deciding which scope to finally mount after having a few little scope/mount issues (I am not sure which). Once again well done you have got a magnum mauser sq bridge actioned rifle at a great price.
In regards to the .416 just get it when she is away, I have a cz .416 as well and love it. Now I am waiting for my cz 9.3x62 and then I am going to get a cz .458 win mag

csutton7PC--I too like composite stocks--I don't care if they get beat up, scratched or what--main reason is they're impervious to weather--rain, hot/humid, freezing or just nice---my guns are used for hunting and that's the intent with the CZ's--I'm a Sako guy and have put composite stocks and bedded all of them, but I do like the look of the CZ's and all their attributes--CRF and steel square bridge and affordability---chris

470 MbogoHi Chris,
Your 2.5 to 8 is a perfect scope for the 375. It sounds like your in for a lot of fun.

My .375 will be getting a work out this June hopefully on some top end pigs. I am thinking I might ditch the idea of using 235 gr speers and setp up to the 270 gr woodleigh's, due to there mud encrusted chests.
