D R HunterWhen do you expect you'll have it in hand? Do you
have immediate plans to work on it, or have another
work on it? If yes, what changes will be executed?
Have great outings with it!!!!!

416RigbyHunterI have one, yet to shoot it, but I love it.
You aren't crazy, just one of us......one of us.......one of us!

Probably so, but if you would kindly post some detailed photos of your new rifle I for one would certainly appreciate it.

viperidaeI second that you will love it! Believe it or not down loaded to 1900 fps the Gibbs is pretty easy to shoot and is darn effective on anything in North America.
Just placing an order for Jamison brass, Woodleigh bullets and RCBS dies. Looking forward to getting the beast. Will post pictures when it arrives.
Ok, I picked up some 525gr bullets for the upcoming arrival of my new CZ and was wondering if anyone can suggest a starting load? Was thinking of keeping it around 2100-2200fps. Maybe H4831?

416RigbyHunterI haven't used any 525gr pills, but my load data for them and H4831sc is start load of 135gr and work up until the desired velocity is reached. There is another 505 shooter that has worked up to 144gr of H4831sc with a 600gr Woodleigh here in Australia!

No filler should be needed.
Cheers.

Use 144 gr RL 25 for my 525 Tsx and extremely accurate with 2270 fps and a pleasure to shoot. Lethal combo.

Have you worked up any loads with RE25 and a 600gr pill? I have heaps of Woodleigh 600gr PPSN, but few loads with slower powders, can you help?
Cheers.

Yes, looking for some starting loads for the 600gr Woodleigh I have coming as well.

D R HunterIanD,
May I politely ask why not use the newer technology
of bullets like CEB, NF, and GSC? All of those are made
much closer to your home, by the way.

D R Hunter,
I would like to use them, but cannot get them exported out of the US.

The CEB website lists two US based international exporters. Perhaps you could use one of the two for the bullets.

Well, G S Custom also manufactures in South Africa,
marginally farther from Alberta than Michigan, USA,
but we do what we must do to work around the imbecilic
bureaucrats whom we elect in the USA and Canada
TO SERVE US !!!

pompous, twits who have forgotten whom has hired them,
