jeffeosso376 steyr part 2
.348" 3 shot group at 100yards, at twilight
leupold 1.5x5, set at 5
Okay dokey..
Changed the trigger from a bold to a markX that had been tuned up.. and then it was too hard, but i'll lighten it later.
was at ole billy carter's today, and picked up some 225 gr sp hornady... just to see what would happen and to have some cheap bullets for hogs
3.10 oal cases,
225 sp
65 g benchmark (middle load from hodgdon's site)
(no chrono, as it's the week before deer season and there's more shooters there than Toad has "plugs" at the Y)
I expect it's at 2850fps, right at 4000 ft/lbs.
I am going hog busting in 10 days, so this little thang will speak for me...

jeffeossoThankgs Guys!!!
Rob, thanks... we need to put together an alaska hunt... say musk ox above the artic rim? with 'bo and meese on the menu? I'll take my 376 and 416... bring your 505/585/600 ??? sheesh, hard choice!!!
It's about 9.5 to .75 (haven't put it on a scale) and the recoil is, well, while there, it's pleasent. I was shooting in a tshirt, laid over like a benchrest, and shot 20 in the space of 75 mins. reminds me of my ~7.25 358, with 225, but those are only at 2500.
thanks guys
jeffe
