I realize that it is sorta politic to talk about needing for hunting, very sad. I like to shoot things to watch them get destroyed, ain't nothing wrong with that IMHO. My earlier post discussed my scrounging a free Yugo which is getting 'dismantled', slowly, but violently. Most of the dimantling is being done with armor piercing 50 cal BMG. I am in central Texas, and using the incindieries is a 'be careful, be very careful' thing, so haven't used much. BUT, we be gettin alot of rain, so have let a few off. Can anyone tell me what one of these rounds should do on direct hit of engine? Saw lotsa smoke, but when I got there to check out, didn't really see anything. I mean, the engine is coming apart, but noticed no 'incindiery' effects. And yes, there ain't no oil, transmission fluid, or gas in the thing, crazy, not stupid.

Please also, anyone have an idea how close would be reasonably safe with the AP rounds on relatively soft target like a Yugo? I am talking ricochet, or target remnants?

Thanks for any info

HUMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! [Eek!]

I can't think of a thing I would need a Yugo, or a 50 BMG for, so I can't answer any of your questions, No experience with Yugo at all, and only experience with a 50 BMG,is with a quad fifty in Korea! They didn't have any Yugos either, so they made me shoot my Quad at airplanes, among other things. [Roll Eyes]
