14.5x114mm info
If anyone could give me info on where to locate ammo or where to find a rifle in this caliber or If I could modify a 50 BMG rifle to accept the 14.5mm cartridge?My intrest in this caliber was brought on by the movie I had recently seen " The Jackal" if you are wandering?

Personally,,i think that load was a bit optimistic, but that's movies,,eeyyhh !If this gun is for real(ZSU-33,,14,5mm)I want it. This gun mounted in a quadruple would be fun to shoot [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

It is near double power than .50BMG, about 1000m/s with 64gram bullet (3278fps with 987gr bullet), E0=32000J. 1700m/s is unreal, maybe with sabbots . . .

A have the same APIT in my collection, nice round

Where do they mount this gun,,,in the turret or together with the main gun (don't think so !)
Do you think it is possible to own a gun in this caliber( GEPARD M3 )?

I have somwe rounds for it that I got from a friend in Moscow. Try to contact an American company that import stuff from Russia.

Vasilli Sajtsev shoot krauts during WW:2 with a 14,5 sovjet.

This round will make the T-Rex look like a BB gun. I bet it kicks [Big Grin] [Big Grin]
