Bullet_ProofRe: .577 Snider loads
Yes you can, not sure if you'll get very good accuracy though. My bertram and kynoch cases hold 110 grains of Elephant FG under the bullet but my 3 band's group opened up greatly from my 85 grain load.

Sounds good. I don't want to damage my rifle. Other loads , I found on the net, used filler. I loaded ten with 85 grains. I'll go ahead and shoot them. The 1F is a good idea. I'll buy a can. I would much prefer to avoid fillers. Should I get a mould for a thick skirt bullet? Maybe even modify the base pin for thicker skirts?

<BMG>I own 2 Sniders (1873 MkIII & 1863 Mk1 Carbine) and also shoot them with turned brass. Go here for some great info specifically on Sniders
http://pub182.ezboard.com/fbritishmilitariaforumsfrm2 they know their stuff.
(I see you already posted)
Your load will be just fine, but try and find a bullet of .590" for the best accuracy.

Can one use a case full of black without fillers and a Mine Ball, and without fillers? I am using turned brass. A case full is about 85 grains 2F.
