For a rare gun, it seems like I am tripping over them all over the internet!

A comment made to me once by a London gunmaker when discussing a collection of guns that was for sale after the person's death. He was a well known writer.

Yes, the collection was a good one of interesting items showing development through the years, but none of them are "best guns".

So, as much as some guns are intersting and like you, I have the odd one that is like that, at the end of the day they do have a limited following if and when you ever want to get rid of them. Where as always trying to improve even within the best gun level, you will always have a buyer.
