To bad they didn't do it 30 years ago, when I
bought my 77 458 Win that I rechambered to my
wildcat.I would have had a Lott instead.And Ruger would have owned the big bore market between
the 77 and #1 single-shot in that caliber.Ed.

I handled one at the SCI convention. I was impressed. I'm not an expert, but I liked it more than the M70 customs in 458 Lott at the Winchester booth.

My gun dealer is ordering me the M77 Rigby right now. When I talk to him next I'll ask about the availability of the .458 Lott.
