Custom Floorplates???
Dave Talley used to make the straddle-type floorplates for the 1909, and I belive Jim Wisner made them for the 602...

Neither are making them any more.

Anyone know of a gunsmith that will build custom floorplates???

I believe Jim Dubbell has some pictures on his website of a custom floorplate in progress. It will not be an inexpensive proposition, no matter who you hire.

does anyone have Jim's website address?

I assume a floorplate would be less expensive than buying the entire bottom metal from blackburn or sunny hill?

I currently still make a 1909 straddle floorplate, to replace the old military one.

#1909FP, retail cost $50.00, plus shipping.

Finish is as machined you final fit and polish.

Sorry I never made any for the Brno 602

Thanks, Jim! Sorry about the 602... I can't remember who made them.
