MinkmanExpanding & Crimping
In the recent DSC newsletter, our own Terry Blauwkamp did a very good job outlining the need for crimping.
Question I have for the group is:
How does one set up the expanding die for the Hornady .458 Lott? When I use it, the die seems to contact the brass too low in the stroke. This occurs even with the die backed off all the way, so I end up eye-balling the bell.
Not the fastest or most efficient way.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jerry
I had some similar issues with the Hornady Lott Die Set? Hornady was really no help..so I went ahead and switch to Reddings when they came out...I have had better luck with the Reddings.
