N. GarrettI couldn't get much off the menu after the page loaded, but still, the engraving on the rifles on the home page is magnificent.
It's more ornate than I want for my rifles, but I can't deny the skill and quality that went into them.

Norman ConquestI could'nt get anything past the home page either, however the beauty of those floorplates is worth looking at.

woodsracerClick on "English", then "Menu", then "Gunbuilding", and lastly "Engraving." The page will automatically scroll between close-ups of the engraving (on the left side of the screen), so sit back and watch the show.
Also, try "Menu", then "Our Rifles" and THEN "VO Big Five Addition", and then watch the slide show on the left again!
Just wait until you see the close-ups!!!

Look at the scroll work at the plate that seperates the breakdown rifles!!!

It's a Swedish gun maker. He uses the Husqvarna 1900 action -not very different from the Remington 700

A very good gunmaker that haven't understood what the African hunters want -a Mauser 98 action!
The engraving is however made by Master engraver Stanley Stoltz, aslo a Swede that have been working for the best known Italian gunmakers for many years.

VoVapen used to offer a Mauser actioned rifle didn't they? I wonder why they dropped it to concentrate on the Zoli actions?

I wasn't too interested in the action, since for a DGR, I too would prefer a CRF action.
I was merely wanting folks to look at the engravings. They are without a doubt some of the nicest that I have seen, with animals that are well proportioned and very lifelike!
