Regulating Swift and Woodleigh solid
Any one ever gotten a 400 gr. Swift and a 410 gr. Woodleigh solid out of a bolt-actioned 416 Rigby to shoot to the same point of aim? I understand that this may be like trying to invent an eight-sided wheel.
Thanks.

Hi Worth,
This is not what you are asking for, but I have a 375H&H that will shoot those two bullets using 300 gr. with-in 1/2" of each other at 100 yds using the same powder.
Good luck, it's worth the try

If that is what you want to shoot, contact Larry Barnett at Superior Ammunition in South Dakota. He can do it for you, I'm sure. I shoot the Swift A-Frame and the Barnes Solid out of my .416Rem and he does my loads.

Haven't tried Woodleigh solids out of it, but I've got a Wiseman .416 Rem. that can be made to shoot nearly everything same point of aim -- even most factory. Have done it with Swift A frames, Nosler Partitions, Trophy Bonded Bear Claws, Barnes Triple Shock and Trophy Bonded Sledgehammers. Get a chronograph and tinker. Added benefit is soon the .416 is a pussycat and you'll want something bigger.
