There are a few other 460 shooters here.

With a Weatherby replacement floorplate, the magazine capacity can be upped to three rounds plus one in the chamber.

I have owned 2 460s in the last 14 years. I have fired hundreds of rounds through my 460s during that period. I think the 460 Wby. is a fine cartridge. As for recoil it is heavy but manageable IMO. The recoil is nowhere as heavy as my 500 A2 or my 577 T.Rex.

jeffeosso,

Your comments WERE directed toward 1000 pound animals and 1000 pound animals ONLY! Nowhere did you mention "deer" or "deer sized" or even "deer like". What is the matter, either you believe that there is NO DIFFERENCE or you do believe there is a difference. So do you believe SIZE MATTERS or NOT? Make up you mind man!

ASS_CLOWN

exactly, scotty... i didn't mention DEER, another poster did, but you chose to blend them...

so, stop quoting things you don't understand

I think all told, $1795 is WAY too much; $1000 is as high as I would go, as there is an extremely limited market for this gun (LH or not).

No lie! I'd like to buy it for what it's worth, and sell it for $1750! That would make me about $1400 profit!

All kiding asside, the rifle is not worth $1750, and IMO, the real drawback is #1 the chambering, #2 the push feed action, and #3 added on sights! The market might draw $1000, because of the L/H action, but is not worth even that to me, even if I were left handed! If it is worth it to you, buy it, it's your money!
