475Guy - yep, he is chunkin' up a bit. Must be the horse manure I've been putting in his socks. My little man turns the big 01 next Friday.

The other day we went for a walk around the neighborhood and I had him in a backpack carrier. We saw a doe standing about 30 yards from us and he pointed to it and said "da." To translate that, it means: "Pop, when I'm old enough you are taking me hunting and I'm going to bag something like that..."

Ah hah, one year old. No wonder he's filled out some. BTW, my niece just gave birth to a bouncing baby boy Aug 23 and I'm having to re-acquire all my baby handling skills all over again.

I saw the perfect double a couple of years ago at the SCI convention in Las Vegas. It was .17HMR and REALLY beautiful. Would be a perfect companion.
