Info about double rifles
I want to learn more about double rifles, particularly the old British makers.

Can anyone point me to any web sites where I can find some good information? I am looking for things like history, definitions of terms related to doubles, photos, etc.

thanks,

shiflan

Hi Shiflan,
Look into Safri Press or The Gun Room Books. They will carry books with all the information your looking for. I think Safari Press has a website. I'm guessing www.safaripress.com. 470 Mbogo

Your best source of information is Shooting the British Double Rifle, volumes 1 an 2 by Graeme Wright....Huntingtons carries both volumes...Also Safari Rifles by Boddington is a good source for calibers and use.
