Open sights for Win m.70
Hello all!
Can anyone point me to some open (express) sightblades (front and rear)that i can install on the existing ramps on my Win. 70 classic safari express. I don´t need "the best" but I want something better than the original.
Thank you!

Not the original and even a little bit more to change than just the blades, but something better - LED illuminated front sight:

if You look for just some new sightblades, have a look at "Recknagel" (www.recknagel.de) as they have build the "original" one on the Winchester I think. Mine looks like they have build...

Best regards,
Klaus

Thanks for the tip Klaus!
I thought maybe it was williams.
Is there anywhere on the et I can see what recknagel has to offer?
To all: I would also be interested in new ramps as long as they can be mounted without gunsmithing i.e. using the existing screw on mount.

Check with Wiesner and see if he has any of those old screw gizzie m-70 sights that were on the pre war .375s. He makes them and they are a great sight with the traditional shallow V that runs up and down on a screw. I have them on several of my guns.

Hi Snowhound,

Yes and sorry I cheched that website and there is no catalogue. Mail them and ask them. I have a printed catalogue from them and their sight looks 100% the same like mine on my Win70 Safari .375H&H ...

Good luck to You and nice greetings to Sweden...

Klaus
