416/375 Ruger on my table
On Tuesday I will pick up my finished metal work for my 416/375 Ruger on an FN action with a LW barrel complete with most of the bells and whistles like M-70 safty, barrell band front sight and swivel.

I think I will sell it as is because now I wanna 423/375 Ruger, so may just start all over.
If not then I will stock it and peddle it, then start over.

I want to thank RIP for this foopaw, he is totally responsible for posting pics of the different calibers, and setting me back several months in this plan. I could not resist the 404 in any form, it would not be American for me to do so.

Colani,
Not even close,

It would be close to a long 9.3x64 necked up to .416 in looks. Thats as close as I can figure in metric cases.

Ray,

That is because you are up there in I-D-Ho!

Did you think about going with a .404 Dakota?

Haven't seen you in a while, welcome back...jim

RIP
Here's the pic that Ray blames for corruption of his plan, though we all know he had the corrupted plan before he saw this: Wink
L to R: .375, .395, .416, .423, .458 Ruger
BTW, .404 Dakota dies are handy for making .423/.375 Ruger dummies.

Nice one RIP thumb Somewhere deep down I'd almost prefer to see Ruger bring out a factory 423Ruger rather than the anticipated 416Ruger. The 416 market is effectively full, whilst the 423 has yet to be explored and should appeal to the same buyers. Ruger missed the boat a long time ago not chambering the 416Taylor ... a 416Ruger now may eat into their sales of their 416Rigby ... the 423 is just full of possibilities!
Cheers...
