Why not just the Farq? I stongly suggest you scale them in 3 sizes, upto the 700 NE with the 600&700 at the the largest scale and the 577 next smallest.

We are considering building a Falling Block Single Shot Action based upon the 1887 Webley (similar to a Farquarson). To our knowledge there are only a handful of this model Webley left in existance, and we have access to one. Our plan would be to do computer models of the original action, and scale it up/down for specific cartridges. If you have a moment and would be interested in this please visit our website at www.rifleactions.com, and click on Customer Surveys and respond to Survey #3. Thank you in advance for your time.

Butch Searcy showed a prototype for one at the '03 SCI convention. It was beautiful but not one single order did he receive. I'd make the brotherhood put up some deposits before venturing on what is admittedly a noble idea.

I'd very much like to be able to purchase a new Farq action, but it needs to be somewhat affordable. I can get a Hagn for $2500, which I consider the best there is.
