SaxonPigSlight variations in bluing occur. Send it back to reblue? It's a brand new gun for crying out loud. If it's really messed up then send it back for a warranty replacement. A reblued gun has half the value. Also, you seem obsessed with glas-bedding. Why? I think I have one rifle that is bedded and I don't miss it on the rest.
I think your excitement with this whole experience is getting the better of you. Relax.

gohip2000I'm not obsessed with glass bedding, I just asked about it because others have said to have it done.
I did get it to the range today. I shot 10 round of 235 gr speer bullets at 2700 fps. It wasn't bad. it had a good amount of recoil, but it didn't hurt.
I then shot 10 rounds of 270 gr barnes 3x at 2800 fps. the recoil was a little more stiff, but still managable. The factory sites where exactly level at 100 yards with both loads, but they were off to the left about 4 inches
