left-hand stopping rifle project status
I just opened the mail from Montana Rifleman; I have a place in the queue for a left hand 4140 chrome-moly magnum bolt face action when they start shipping ("summer 2002").

The promotional material also mentions as "coming soon":

Professional Hunter action in RH and LH
Short action in RH and LH
Mini action in LH and RH

My action will go to John Ricks to be built into the prototype for the left hand stopping rifle project.

If you lefties are interested in a rifle from the production run, please contact me.

Jim and I are the proverbial kids waiting for Christmas. In addition to the actions Jim has on order, I have a left hand Stainless, Magnum bolt face, for a 300 Weatherby project, and a PH version, stainless also, that is destined to be a 500 A-Square.

John... I posted this at 24 hour/custom guns, as well...

Stainless Express Island sight/Quarter Ribs, and barrel band front sight?
A stainless No1 QR might be able to be used, but what of the barrel band sight? ~~~Suluuq
