475GuyThanks for the link. The only thing I can't stand was the plain looking WallyWorld ugly stock on my 77. I can live with the pushfeed since it shoots but can't stand fugly.

475Guy,
"

Is your Ruger 77 one of the MkII models (including the Magnums) that has CRF? Or is it one of the earlier models with the tang safety that were a push feed? Just curious about your statement.

Art S.That stock isn't nearly as pretty as the one that came on the Ruger I just bought. (Also,it still needs checkering.) Not a bad deal if you have a broken stock or one that is butt ugly, though.

The 458WM is an old tang-saftety Ruger 77. Of course, it won't compare to any of my RSM's. Like I said, the stock is just plain, plain ugly.... The only thing it does well is shoot anything I throw in it.

Gringo Cazadoraint nothing wrong with shoot anything you can throw in it.
