Re: RL-15 loads too hot for a .470?
RIP,
Why is it that all the nice Bases and Posts have been closed down? Williams AFB, outside of Chandler, AZ, the Presidio, next to San Francisco, CA, and Bergstrom AFB, in Austin, TX to name a few places I have been that are no more . On the other hand such fragrant s**tholes as Ft Bragg, NC, Ft Leonard Wood, MO, and Ft Polk, LA are still going strong !

Just a bag of Dacron polyfill from a fabric store will last you and your kids a life time.

Simple cheap and it works.

You are right on. BTW, those tufts of Dacron are the exact size that I used to stuff in my ears when I was married.

And no, they didn't melt when exposed to a dragon's breath.

Exactly John! Even when fired in the 450/400 the Dacron is spat out the bore. It looks like it could be reloaded!

As for the Dragons' breath. . .I had occasion to have my hearing checked recently. The Dr. came in to give me the report. He old me that I had a severe hearing loss in a particular frequency range. The frequency range of a woman's voice! Of course, my wife could have told me that!
