someoldguyI'm a little bothered by the fact that there's not a second (visible) recoil lug behind the magazine. Am I worrying over nothing?

Bryan ChickWell, it's a bit less than the deposit I put down on my waffenfabrik hein a couple of years ago

capowardGAHUNTER…this appears to be an earlier CZ as it does only have a single cross bolt…you could check CZ’s website for current suggested retail prices…I’d also suggest the installation of a 2nd cross bolt if you do purchase it as the earlier CZs had a stock splitting issue, similar to the current Ruger Hawkeyes, with the single cross bolt in the heavier recoiling calibers.

GAHUNTERI'm sure as hell not gonna buy it. I'm a residential builder, and I'd have to fart to get a cent (scent) in my pocket right now!

Pardon me. Cross bolt, I meant. (Recoil lug? I must've been half asleep.

)
Yeah, I was the one who questioned that.
I think I'd pass, IF I was in the market.

(You and be both, GAHUNTER.

chuck375For about 500 dollars more you can order one from CZ and specify what you want. If it comes in and it needs more work, you send it back until they get it right. I wouldn't buy that rifle unless they came down in price another $400. You're going to have to get it rebedded, a crossbolt added, probably a mecury recoil reducer or two installed and an action job to start ...

Paolo9,5x73It's worth about 1199USD. A .505 now that is window dressing at just about any US shop (read extremely slow mover).

eurocentricThis is the 2006 Model, the 2007 models include the 2 crossbolts and mercury reducer, plus a much nicer finish and wood. I own 2 of the classics made in 07.
