I think it would be a great idea.

I love doubles with beautiful timber stocks, deep blueing, colour case hardening and fine engraving.....

But a SS and plastic double?...if it was up to me anyone caught using such a rifle would be tried in the Hague for crimes against humanity!!!!

...But then, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and in some climates I guess that it would be functional (but bloody ugly).
