Very nice. A buff killer for sure.

Looks great! Personally I'd opt for lower rings though.

A scoped lion killer! Sako`s are good rifles IMO, especially if used like this. You could replace that barrel with a Krieger and that would be better-muzzle break too.You could even change the scope with one that has a larger bell for light gathering and better view.

FYI- Sakos seem to like to ping empty brass off the scope/turret housing when mounted low. The fixed ejector is mounted in the bottom of the bolt face. Hence you have to use slightly taller rings in the Leupold ring-mount line unless you use the Sako optilock which mounts bases on top of the receiver bases. Super tall and a little ugly.

I also just bought a Sako .375H&H, the Kodiak model. It is indeed a buffalo killer. Yours looks superb! Enjoy!

I also have a sako 85 kodia in 375 h&h and it kills grizzly bears dead. I really like the way it comes up and lines up to what ever you are going to shoot.

D R Hunter
How about some details on it's features?
Controlled feed or push feed?
LOP, bbl length and all that sort o' stuff!
Why did you pick it over the competition?
Enjoy it!

Correct bullet placement, combined with the required depth of bullet penetration, results in an anchored animal...
