I am trying to find out some information about a old drilling that I have marked in
7.7x57R. I can not find anything on this old cartridge. Can you please help!!!

CTW 4th ed lists a 7.7x60R with the note that it is an obsolete black powder drilling round with no data. There was a 7x72R that was an old drilling cartridge. I can't find a 7.7 except the Arisaka. Look closely at the faded letters
