458 Lott and 450 gr TSX
after playing with rem 405 gr bullets in my lott for a while i'm ready to try some heavier loads to see what a real 458 lott is like. imr 3031 worked well with the 405 grain bullets. can anyone give me some data for the TSX 450 gr bullet at about 2200-2250? this powder may not work with th

81 Grains of RE12 is giving about 2390fps with CCI 250 primers in a 25" Lilja barrel using that bullet This also happened to give a 3shot group that was a perfct cloverleaf at 100

Stambough,why don't you use the 500 grain bullet? I am just curious as I will also start load development for this round during the next winter.

i found these at gander mountain. they have 500 gr hornadys but they were $70 a box vs 25 for the barnes. i really don't intend to hunt with this gun. i'm wanting find out what a real african rifle is like to shoot. after that i'll go back to the 405 gr bullets. probaly doesn't make sense, but curiosity is getting the better of me. imr 3031 is the only powder i have that could be used with these bullets and i don't want to buy powder for 20 rounds of ammo. I AM CHEAP! thanks
