Did somebody here fool with one of the Pedersoli/Cabela's Kodiak muzzleloading double rifles in the .72 caliber? How's she shoot? What velocities are you getting? Any other thoughts? Had one in .58 -- authoritative with 130 grns FFg and a 570-grain conical. Want to try a bigger one. Been readin' too many of Karl's threads I guess ...

I have a friend that is trying to sell his Pedersoli 72 caliber double.It's like new and comes with a bunch of 850 grain cast conicals.He's asking $600 for it.If you're interested,shoot me an e-mail and I'll put you in touch with him.

PS-The ONLY reason he is selling it is because he just built a Rolling Block 50/90 and needs the money.

A friend of mine has one. He loads it with 175 grains of ffg but I cannot remember what the bullet weight is. I will try an find out that and what velocities he is getting.

What kind of velocities are you getting with the 58 caliber and the load you posted?

I'd be very interested in knowing what kind of velocity and accuracy you can get with an 850 gr conical bullet. That is the kind of load I had in mind but I am concerned about the twist rate.
