Not all of us are ignorant, I use some very pleasant and effective 470 NE loads on deer ( using cast bullets, or 475 pistol bullets if I want expansion.) loads are with 50 grs. ( half full case ) of XMR 5744 powder that was designed for the very large blackpowder buffalo cartridges, ie. 45- 120 ,50- 140 .
Powder burns clean, not position sensitive , no problem with half full cases.
