Matthewx620 mold source
Does anyone have a source for 750 grain and 900 grain .622 flat nose bullet molds? I am looking for something with a bigger meplat than the NEI?

RIPDesign your own:
www.brooksmoulds.comI will probably have to design my own .616" TCFN, aiming for 900-grain Lyman N0.2 alloy, or maybe Linotype.
I hadn't thought about 20 gauge gas checks ... until now ...

Dutch44I own 4 Brooks moulds and Steve has been a friend for years. He will make you an excellent mould.

RIPI just ordered a .616"/900gr mould using the web site.
I thanked Mr. Brooks for the great job he did on the .730"/1400gr
"Darwin" mould for 12GaFH.
The Natural Selector.
That mould is a beauty, with flat nose and and hollow base:
Sprue plate on top, hollow-pointer on the bottom, nose pour, and precision made perfection.
The 20 Gauge Hellboy mould will be simple by comparison.
Solid, flat base and FN nose, with whatever length and band configuration practical for 900 grains in Lyman No. 2 alloy.
I will be able to use standard 20 gauge cards, wads, and seals in RMC brass, so I decided to forget the gas check.
Thanks for reminding me to order.
