BaxterBQuestion for CZ guys...
Do the big magnum (Rigby etc) CZ actions have the same diameter bolt as the 'standard' mags, 7mm etc... if so; then the action is merely longer?
Thx

RIPYes, the CZ 550 Magnum and Medium actions share the same bolt body diameter: 0.700"
The medium box is about 3.400" inside, while the magnum has a 3.800" box, and the overall action and bolt lengths are similarly about 0.4" different.
Just like a standad M98 Mauser and the Magnum Mauser 98: 0.700"
And the Ruger M77 MkII short and "long" (medium) and RSM-Magnum(long) and Hawkeye (medium): 0.700"
And the Winchester M70 super short and short and long: 0.700"
And the Remington M700s, short and long: 0.700"
And the Dakota M76: 0.700"
Granite Mountain makes both a 0.700" and 0.750" bolt diameter, or did.
Sumbuddy who know more?
