What is the ballistic coefficient of the bullet, how high is the scope mounted, what is the scope zeroed at, and at what velocity was it launched?

Assuming a 100yd. zero with the scope mounted 1.5" above the bore, shooting a high-BC bullet, 11" or so.

With average scope mounting, and with +3" @100 yds, the 300 gr should be just about dead on @ 200yds, and -4 1/4" at 250 yds, With a starting speed of 2550 Fps! with this 200 yd zero, the rifle is about dead on at 25 yds as well!
..........Good shooting! beer

This more represents the 375 H&H as a 200 yard sight in makes it a very long range round. It can shoot all the way to 250 inside a 4" pipe if you want.

With my 375 H&H a 300 gr bullet going 2648 FPS and zeroed at 200 yds with a BC of 458 drops 8.78" at 300 yds. Would need more Info to get your 300 yd drop.
