Plinking bullet
Something a little thrifty (cheap) for summer shooting off the bluff at distant rocks and such. It's a 425Express (.423) and fireforming chores. Reduced load friendly, Thanks in advance. Jim

A cast 400gr Gas Checked bullet mould is available from NEI that casts, out of my wheel weight alloy about .4245" at 390+/- grains. I routinely shoot them out of my 404 Jeffery past 2000fps with 2" groups at 50 yards. I just went for velocity not accuracy. Speed drills and all that...

try www.castboolits.com and go to the "Vendors Forum". There is a disabled logger there who runs the Bullshop casting service up there.

I have a 350gn GC cast bullet that gets to 2400fps from my 404 Jeffery but 2300fps in lino gets me great accuracy at 55 yds. A light 1900fps load is even more accurate. Hoch custom mould.
