waterratPlinking bullet
Something a little thrifty (cheap) for summer shooting off the bluff at distant rocks and such. It's a 425Express (.423) and fireforming chores. Reduced load friendly, Thanks in advance. Jim

Idaho SharpshooterA cast 400gr Gas Checked bullet mould is available from NEI that casts, out of my wheel weight alloy about .4245" at 390+/- grains. I routinely shoot them out of my 404 Jeffery past 2000fps with 2" groups at 50 yards. I just went for velocity not accuracy. Speed drills and all that...

try
www.castboolits.com and go to the "Vendors Forum". There is a disabled logger there who runs the Bullshop casting service up there.

Von GruffI have a 350gn GC cast bullet that gets to 2400fps from my 404 Jeffery but 2300fps in lino gets me great accuracy at 55 yds. A light 1900fps load is even more accurate. Hoch custom mould.
