trophyhunter5000Yes,
It used to be called the M8 Fixed power...
Leupold changed the name to FX-2 Ultralight...
I’ve got two under the M8 moniker and have had them on several big bores…
Lots of eye relief and pretty durable as well…
No complaints from me…
Going to mount one on my 600 OK when I get it back, we’ll se how tough it is then…

ScottSA FX-2 Ultralight with the wide reticle is what I have on the 500 A2.

JBoutfishnNot sure if it is the same scope, but I am using the FX II on a S&W 460 Mag. Since the revolver weighs 5 lbs ±, the scope takes a beating. No problems with over 500 rounds fired.

fredj338I have one as a backup to my VXIII1.5x5 on my 404jeffery. It's very light wt., clear & bright. I've only had about 40rds under it so I don't know about durability but the VXIII, w/ more parts, has gone 350rds plus & still going strong.

TMGThere is also a VX-1 1-4X x 20 mm - fits on the CZ 550 Magnum action, lots of eye relief, cheap @ $199. I have two, one on a 416 Rigby and the other on a 9.3 x 62. No probs yet.
Would also make a good backup scope for a long trip.

I assume that is the same scope that is often referred to on this site as the Leupold Compact 2.5 X and usually with regard to being recoil proof.

xm15e2m4Has anybody tried the 30mm tube 1.5-5 Leupold on a CZ 550 action?
yes, I have two of the scopes, one is mounted on my cz375 and the second will be mounted on this 416 rem I am building. Mine has the ill reticle, it is a great scope.
