350 gr bullets in the 375 H&H
Has anyone shot those 350 gr bullets in their 375 H&H. If so what velocity did you get? What kind of load did you use? I am thinking of getting and loading up some

RIP
Long time ago, I tried the Barnes Original .375/350gr RNSP in a 24" Whitworth .375 H&H.

Start: About 65 grains of H4350 >>> about 2200 fps

Max: About 72 grains of H4350 >>> a little over 2400 fps

That would have been with Winchester brass and F215 primer.

Your mileage may vary.

In hunting used 250 to 300 grainers, all over Alaska and Botswana. I prefer a 300 grainer for everything, in the .375 H&H. I never got greatest accuracy with the 350 grainers.

Jro, I have shot the 350gr. woodleigh bullets a bit. I am getting great accuracy with them out to 100 yards. (I have not shot them more than 100yds.) I am loading them with H4350 at just under 2400fps.Both solids and softs have the same POI.
The only game I have shot with them is a buffalo in australia, and several hogs. First shot on the buff was a soft that did a great job. The other shots were solids, and they all exited. I plan to use them this year in Tanzania for buffalo.

thornell, I am getting some of the Woodleigh 350gr SP bullets. I plan on using IMR4350. About 76gr for a starter.

I loaded some 350 grain Rhino bullets to around 2250 fps and might be able to get a little more with another powder, but I like to keep pressures low.

I got close to 2400fps with H414 under Woodleigh's 350SP. Very accurate using my irons and really hits HARD!
