Has anyone handled the new Leupold Rapid Mount System (Scope Mount)? If so, any opinions?

well after looking at this it may finally be something that will work better than those clever little levers on talley type rings.

it will be nice to see these for real.

i still feel that despite all these new innovations there is nothing that beats a claw mount system. it is time tested and proven.

expensive, yes, but what is your life worth ?
reliable ? absolutely. and fast too !

Well, "extremely affordable and exceptionally well made", usually don't go together when scope mounts are the topic.
