Anybody have an educated guess as to when these (and the ammo) will be available?

I talked to a Ruger rep at the SHOY Show, and he said they'd be here this summer. FWIW.

I watched Craig Boddington use one on a buff hunt on his TV show. One shot kill best I could tell.

Ruger told me the same thing as akriet; sometime early this summer. Hornady also told me that it would take a few months for them to tool up to make the ammo.

Anyone who claims the 30-06 is ineffective has either not tried one, or is unwittingly commenting on their own marksmanship

At DSC, they said they would ship soon to Midway etc. Hopefully everything is already tooled up since they had sample brass at their booth as well as several others (Heym USA). Bob
