PondoroScope for a Mannlicher Schønauer Mod. 1910..
I am looking for a suitable scope for this sleek rifle, had a Pecar in a controlled claw mount, but alas....it was stolen....and Pecar as I understand is out of business..?
Any suggestions gentlemen...?

N E 450 No2You are correct, Pecar is out of business.
They were good people several years ago they
redid a scope for me.
The MS is a nice rifle, I would probably go with a 1" scope, a Ziess, Swaro or a Kahles.
What calibre is your MS?

DuggaBoyeAn un modified 1910 should be a 375 Rimless (9.5 x 56 (7))
Claw mounts from EAW can be modeled to fit,
or complete customs can be made up.
My sources for the original have largely dried up.

SR4759You might look at one of the 7/8" Leupold Alaskans. You might have to pay a premium for one off of an auction site but they would look nice on your rifle.

PondoroThank all, I will look into your suggestions, and as you correctly state Duggaboye, the calibre is 9,5x57 MS..

Duane WiebeRecknagel has all the hardware necessary to fit about any scope you choose (claw mounts) I like Recknagel better then EAW

HotRail1Pondoro-
I picked a 1910 in 375 Express at auction last year. It has a Zeiss Zielvier in a set of claw mounts. I'm real happy with this set up. It looks good, handles well and likes Hornady 270 gr. bullets.

I like both, perhaps the Recknagels a bit more, I've just had a tad more difficulty getting them at times.
